UX Case study
Designing GoAdventure - A Booking Platform for Adventure Enthusiasts
overview
Finiding the Problem
Adventure seekers rely on social media to discover and register for events.
Social media was not built for transactional user journeys, causing friction for both users and event organizers.
Practically, those platforms are limited when it comes to:
- Browsing verified activities and organizers
- Making secure payments
- Tracking bookings and history
- Receiving timely updates, alerts and reminders
Research
Identify user pain points in discovering, planning, and booking adventure events.
We collborated with adventure enthusiasts, organizers and looked for the multiple sources to find out the problems.
Sources:
- Interviewed 15 individuals interested in adventure activities across India
- Visited and participated adventure events
- Collaborated with organizers to understand the business
- Conducted basic competitor analysis of event discovery platforms and booking tools
